Biography
| Peter Mengede: Guitar Previous/other bands: Helmet, Handsome, Watusi Now and Shakers Born in Brisbane where he first donned a happy coat in high school band Eclipse before cutting his baby teeth with the Shakers (alongside future Radio Birdman Bassist Jim Dickson) then moving on to the Sydney independent underground where he played guitar in Watusi Now. He moved to New York in 1986 where he is best known for being one of the founding members of the influential NYC band Helmet, with whom he toured and recorded Strap It On, Meantime (Gold Certified), Born Annoying (singles), and the John Peel Sessions. Peter left Helmet in February 1993 and went on to form the band Handsome who recorded their self-titled debut for Epic records and subsequently touring the northern hemisphere. He also worked with KRS One on the Gold Certified “I Got Next” with Handsome contributing “Just to Prove a Point”. After living in New York City for sixteen years, he moved back to Brisbane after 911 where he is inexorably changing from an angry young man into a cranky old one. |

| Jimmy Sky: Vocals Previous/other bands: Flowers for Lilly and A Name Will Come Vocalist Jimmy Sky has been involved in music since the age of 12. Since 1999 Jimmy has successfully avoided the limelight and any forms of recognition despite repeated attempts by park hobos and other drunks to draw media attention to his vocal talent. His musical history includes singing for A Name Will Come & Flowers For Lily, scaring children at the Big Day Out, and crooning the Irish anthem "Danny Boy" to bewildered Australian Idol participants; he's also penned more than a hundred songs during his brief stint as a toilet paper decorator. After sleeping on Peter Mengede's porch for several months and threatening his family, he eventually got his way and joined forces with KUNST in order to take over the world. Jimmy is an avid writer, poet, photographer and painter who likes long walks on the beach, sensual, consenting groups of adults with tattoos, and eating music for breakfast. Guitarist/producer Dale Watkinson hails from the redneck wastelands of Old South Wales in the UK. He is wanted by authorities on 3 continents for the murder of 21 house DJs and his mum says that he is an 'exceptional boy'. Dale's playing style is heavy and minimal with an emphasis on head-nodding grooves. |
